In order to have resilient households, Mbale Area Federation of communities supports vulnerable families and communities to improve on their existing economic status by conducting household needs assessment, provision of IGAs like livestock has always been the best for households in ensuring that the lives of the children are improved through provision of basic needs as earned from the bi products of the IGAs given like Milk, Calves/kids and manure and facilitate extension workers to provide extension services to the households.
We educate caregivers on group dynamics, financial literacy and micro business enterprise management, training parents in groups about Village Saving and Loan Association and give regular supports to the formed groups that ensure their VSL services are creating resilience for the group members. Contribution to SDG 1 (NO POVERTY)
